The Masterclass Leadership through Movement is developed by Random Collision and a team part of the faculty of Psychology at the University of Groningen. The two organisations previously developed Experiment B +, an experiment and performance into that examined the effect of performances on social relations. Experiment B + was presented at Moving Futures festival in 2015-2016.
The masterclasses during Moving Futures are taught by choreographer Ido Batash and psychologist Anne de Hoog. Ido Batash is a dancer, teacher and independent choreographer. As a performer he danced in a.o. work by les ballets C de la B / Alain Platel and collaborated in projects by Idan Cohen, Talia Back and Roy Assaf. Since 2012 he is regularly working together with Random Collision in Groningen. Anne de Hoog studied Psychology at the University of Groningen. She was involved with the Movement Research Classes at Random Collision for many years and worked as a volunteer as part of Experiment B+.
In Utrecht the masterclass is taught by dancer and choreographer Amos Ben-Tal. As a dancer he worked at the Nederlands Dans Theater for nine years. Since 2012 he creates versatile encounters with dance, text and music in the form of performances, events and installations with his own collective OFFprojects.
