From 16-18 May LUX Nijmegen will be all about contemporary dance. Experience three days of shows, talks, dance movies and pop-up performances.
Enjoy the dynamics between music and dance in Panflutes and Paperwork by choreographer Ingrid Berger Myhre and composer Lasse Passage Nøsted. The duet playfully problematizes the conventional relationship between dance and music by challenging the standardised idea they each have to live up to and what they together can produce. This night you will discover all the shapes emergency blankets can have: after the short version of Die Verwandlung, inspired by the book of Franz Kafka, Sophie Mayeux explores in a new performance the evolutionary process of the species.
In collaboration with Cinedans there will be a cutting-edge program of dance movies. More information about the side programme will follow soon.
