After five editions in 5 different cities we are still good to go! This week we travel to Germany for the Tanz Mainz Festival UPDATE #2 on March 6 and 7 and pay a first time visit to Podium Bloos in Breda (9 + 10 March).
For our new audience-members in Breda we have prepared a special arrangement including a couple first time performances. Everyday The100Hands will surprise the spectator with In the midst of everything. Suddenly they are there, just like that, right in the middle of the audience. Free of charge.
The evening that follows is a genuin Boys Night. Dancers Shane Boers, Simon Bus and Evangelos Biskas bring cutting edge breakdance, experimentele hiphop and contemporary dance in Even Worse by Guilherme Miotto. And also b-boys Jonas Frey and Joseph Simon play with the endless possibilities of breakdance in Infinite Games. The evening is concluded with a freestyle jamsession by Tilburg urban crew FreeFree. Check out the whole program here.
On Saturday we look forward to two new solo’s by choreographers Hilde Elbers and Heather Ware created for each other. The two solo’s come from the wish to explore eachothers physicality and creation proces from up close. Next to the solo’s it is also time for the first try out of Kyabajõ by Jija Sohn. She will premier the piece on March 28th in Amsterdam. Want to know more about the complete program. Find out more here.
